This amazing material has the look and feel of dry carbon fiber, but it's actually a flexible, self-adhesive wrap that can be applied to just about any surface. Unlike some carbon-look materials, this is NOT a fabric, so it will not bunch at corners, and does not add significant thickness to the item it's applied to.
Installation is as simple as peeling it off the backing and sticking to the surface you want to cover. It'll stick to just about any non-porous surface, inside or outside of as car, flat or curved. If you're applying it to a convoluted or curved surface, you can use a heat gun or hair dryer to help the material curve and stretch to fit the surface.
Applications are almost limitless: Cover a center console, arm rest, a dash. Or do a spoiler, a hood scoop, or a whole roof. Other favorite uses: Laptop computer. Tool box. Computer case. Dishwasher. (Yes, seriously.)
Available in several sizes, and if the options below are not large enough for you, we can cut you a longer piece!
The material has an expected life of four years outdoors, and twelve years indoors. Note! Your mileage may vary -- the life expectancy will change based on many variables. We do NOT warranty this product in any way, other than to promise it will arrive to you in one undamaged piece. Due to the custom-cut nature of this product, we cannot accept returns. (Even if it's not installed.) We think it's pretty easy to install, but we do not promise that you will be able to install it successfully -- if you're not comfortable installing something like this, hand the material over to a local vinyl or clear-bra installer.
(We know most of you are very talented, but we don't want someone calling us with their entire piece of carbon wrap attached to their face, asking us for a refund...)
The material can be washed using soap and water. (Don't use any kind of abrasive on it.)
For absolute best adhesion, we suggest using 3M Tape Primer 94. You can find that on Google.
