The stock R56 engine torque arm features a squishy soft rubber insert that allows a surprising amount of engine movement. While this may be great for comfort, it's not so good when you're trying to get power to the ground!
The NM Engineering Torque Arm Insert features polyurethane material that's much stiffer than the stock rubber. The inserts fill voids in the factory rubber, and add stiffness, allowing much less engine movement and more power to the wheels, where it belongs.
To install, simply unbolt the factory torque arm, insert the polyurethane inserts, and replace the arm. (Note that the product photos here show the inserts and the factory aluminum torque arm.)
Fits almost all R56 platform cars, including all 2008-2013 Cooper and Clubman models, and 2009-2013 Convertibles. Specify model year.
