Turbo Upgrade (1995+ and AT cars)
The 1G manual transmission cars got a large turbo that can make a lot of boost. For the second-generation cars, the Mitsubishi engineers wanted to increase turbo response, so they selected a smaller turbocharger than makes less peak boost. Automatic cars (both old and new) also got smaller turbos. To get the maximum power from 2G and AT cars, you'll want to upgrade to a larger turbocharger
